A place for stuff.

The new version of windowblinds is working well, however it absolutly refuses to skin MDI buttons, no matter what skin is being applied, even with Mike Bryant's "cyclops" they refuse to skin. Has anyone had this problem? I've gone through all the settings and everything appears to be normal. One of these days I'm going to download a stardock product that works like it's suppose to on the very first application. Hell, everything else that I either download or buy always works properly the first time you install it, with one exception. Would anyone here like to guess what programs those usually are? Please don't ask me if I removed-uninstalled-rebooted or made sure the computer was plugged in. The product refuses to skin MDI buttons, even when creating a new skin with the old version and newly updated version of skinstudio. It refuses to do what it is supposed to do, end of story.

Its not a 'problem' per se... its a feature that hasnt been worked into the WB5 program yet. It currently only applies to WB5 skins that utilize the per-pixel titlebars, I believe. Have you tried this with an 'old' skin from earlier this year?

The entire menu bar is unskinnned. All us skinners can do for now is set the color of that bar. Hoepfully that will be skinable as it used to be soon.

The menu bar skins here with WB5. At least all my WB4 skins still skin the menu bar properly; only the MDI buttons fail to skin. And I believe the developers are aware and working on it.

MDI buttons are now skinning properly in 5.00[b].004, but the menubar background is not getting skinned in some apps that it had been skinned in previous versions, and the menubar item buttons are not getting skinned in some cases as well.

WB 5.00[b].004 here also, for WB 4.6 or older skins have mdi buttons, for WB 5 skins mdi buttons still just classic. I have tested 5 of each, all do have mdi buttons defined in them.

I don't doubt you, Cavan, but that seems odd, since I don't believe there is any real difference between "WB4 skins" & "WB5 skins" except for the inclusion of per-pixel graphics in the latter - WB5's are not a different "format" or anything, still just a text file defining images & parameters.

I just updated wb5, still refuses to skin mdi buttons. I'm working on a beatuiful skin, and not being able to skin mdi buttons is ruining the whole process. What a load.
